The Lesson of Dry Fur |
Through meditation, I intend to find a route to locating Shu. In the meantime, you would benefit from practice and discipline.
Your first task is the task of all trainees entering the pools: cross the balance poles to the west and ring the bell without falling into the pool. Should you fall, the pool's curse will make it difficult to get on a pole again, so you will need to return to the edge of the pool to start over. Oh, and beware the cranes. Quest Objectives Cross the balance poles and ring the training bell. |
Aysa now wishes to continue your training while she meditates on how to find the water spirit. Doing this quest with the Lesson of the Balanced Rock is most efficient. Also, doing this while you do Jojo's quest, Stronger Than Reeds, is also efficient.
Turn around and leave the pool in the same way you came. Remember that it turns you into a skunk. |
Go back to where you met Jojo, and down into the pool where you gathered the reeds for his demonstration. You will see there poles with Tushui Monks standing on them.
|
In order to climb up, you must be in your Pandaren form (not a frog). Stand at the edge of the water and hover over a pole until you see a green arrow where your cursor is (it didn't show up in the screen shot).
|
From there, jump to empty poles in range. Jumping onto one occupied by another initiate will cause you to fall and you'll have to start over. Remember, that the cranes are aggressive when you're a frog. The bell is in the center of the pool with two gears over top of it. Jump poles until you get to it, then jump out the way you came in (provided the poles are still empty).

The Lesson of Dry Fur |
When you reach the edge, you will not be able to just jump to the shore. Click on the small red arrow (similar to the one you clicked to mount the pole) right above your action bars. It will drop you into the water.
|
Return to Aysa to turn the quest in once you have also defeated 6 monks for the Lesson of the Balanced Rock.
|
Good. You're a quick study.
