In Deep Slumber |
This bed will be yours for the deep slumber that will usher you into the Dream.
Once you are comfortable, drink of the moonwater you brought. I will guide you from there. Quickly, now - with every passing moment G'Hanir slips further into darkness. Quest Objectives Enter the Emerald Dream and retrieve G'Hanir. |
Once you accept the quest, Naralex will ask, "You still have the moonwater, yes? Good, good! Then you are ready." Follow him over to the bed.
Once you are lying down, Naralex will say, "Now just relax and focus your mind on the Dream. I will guide your spirit from here."
You may notice a lot of bones on the bed. If you become corrupted by the dream, you will die. I had this experience many times. |
Your screen will fade and you will be teleported into the Dream. Naralex will say, "Can you hear me, <Name>?"
"G'Hanir rests at the Circle of Spirits above, but it oozes Nightmare into the barrow den. You must hurry before you succumb to the corruption!"
The longer you remain in the dream, the more corruption you will take on. Be careful not to walk through the water or stand in mist on the ground. That will cause you to fill the bar on your screen. You should encounter Bashara Runetotem. Use your entangling roots to get past this section (it took me a LONG time to figure out).
Cross the bridge and run up and out of the barrow. You may need to fight things on the way. Again, be careful not to accumulate too much corruption.
Lyessa Bloomwatcher will be outside attempting to stem the corruption in G'Hanir. She will yell, "Please help! I can't hold the corruption back much longer."
Go and pick up the weapon. This is not the artifact version of the weapon, though it may still be better than what you have. |
After picking up the corrupted staff, Lyessa will say, "I would have surely been overwhelmed if you had not arrived. Thank you."
In Deep Slumber |
"Let us reconvene in the physical world."
At this point you will wake up from the Dream. Naralex will be kneeling by your side. He will say, "By the Ancients, you have it! You have G'Hanir!"
Delving into the Dream with such darkness encroaching is no simple task, one few druids dare attempt, but I'm afraid your journey is far from over.
