A Perfect Costume
Judging by your weight, build, and size, we're going to dress you as a troll. The Smolderthorn trolls have always worked with the Blackrock orcs, so you'll fit right in.
Do you know much about tailoring? If not, then consider this your first lesson. My crafting table over there has all the necessary supplies on it. Go ahead and grab whatever you think is necessary, then bring it here. Thelaron will fix you right up. Quest Objectives Bring the appropriate amount of supplies from the Tailoring Table to Thelaron Direneedle at Chiselgrip. |
Next to Thelaron, there's a low, round table. Click on that to gather supplies.
|
I kind of gather that there's a different quest for each race (some races double up if you look at Wowhead). I can only give you the information currently for Night Elf.
Once you click on the table, you'll get the following text: "Several piles of supplies rest on the table. You decide to start with the worg hides." Your option is to "Investigate the hides." |
The quest doesn't really give you very much information on what to select, so you might have to experiment a little to get it right.
"You see the stack of worg hides that you collected earlier. These will be used for the bulk of your costume." You'll be able to choose 1, 2, 3, or 4 hides. |
Next, you'll get the options for mud. "Looking over, you see the obsidian-flecked mud that you collected from the lava beds. This will be used to color your disguise."
You'll be able to choose 1, 2, 3, or 4 handfuls of the mud. |
Next, you'll see thread. "Finally, you see some thread, which will be used to hold the disguise together."
You'll be able to choose 1, 2, 3, or 4 spools of thread. |
Then, head back to Thelaron. His text is as follows, "What have ye brought me?"
You'll respond, "I brought you some hides, mud, and thread." You can get the disguise wrong. If you pick wrong, Theralon will tell you what's wrong. See the two examples below. "Alright, this is far too much mud. Your disguise will be too dark and gloppy." "Ach! Everything else looks good, but there's too much thread!" |
If you get it wrong, you'll be able to go through the options again and attempt to get it right. For night elf, you'll need three hides.
|
For night elf, you'll need two handfuls of mud.
|
For night elf, you'll need one spool of thread.

A Perfect Costume
|
Again, return to Theralon.
|
When you get it right, Theralon will say, "This... this is perfect! This disguise shall be my masterpiece!" The quest will be complete at that point.
|
That's it? That's your disguise?
I'm feeling less confident about our chances. It was nice knowing you, kid. |
